Customer Service Administrator - Basingstoke

We’re currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to provide an office-based link between customer and Company in order to satisfy queries, record and resolve problems and ensure a high standard of customer care in accordance with our customer commitment.

In this role you will:   

  • Record all calls/emails onto our system and forwarding to relevant departments for investigation/updates and keeping all depts/colleagues and customer updated regularly
  • Complete Monthly VIP calls to customers and updating records and possible sales
  • Order items, complete customer instructions and Ending customers contracts as and when required
  • Process all documentation correctly and maintain files and records according to procedures 
  • Action messages received and record these on our system plus respond to messages
  • Carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual which may be updated from time to time.
  • Liaise closely with other departments and provide support for the Customer Service Executives and action instructions from the
  • Comply with Company Policies and the Terms and Conditions of Employment, Health & Safety and follow Company Procedures. Full PPE.
  • Attend training courses as required   
  • Foster and maintain good working relations with customers, Company and colleagues 
  • Maintain confidentiality of Company and customer business 
  • Other Ad hoc duties as required

 

Person Specification 

The ideal candidate would have worked in an office environment previously, be confident in a range of IT skills including Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams. Be able to work as part of a team plus on their own and have a strong attention to detail and good time management and organisation skills. Experience in a similar role is essential.
